Germany’s deep funk collective steps into new territory with A Higher Frequency — a vibrant, all-analog album recorded live-to-tape at the legendary MPS Studio in the Black Forest. Blending their signature raw funk with jazzy textures and cosmic soul, this 10-track set channels spiritual grooves, cinematic moods, and outernational flair.

Joined by longtime collaborators Daniel Kimaz (flute) and Guillaume Méténier (grand piano, Hammond), the band captures pure ensemble energy with vintage 1960s gear. Highlights include the breakbeat-driven “Open The Gate,” the soulful anthem “Back And Better” featuring Nichola Richards, and the fiery “Can’t Stop This Fire” with NYC’s Carlton Jumel Smith.
