After nearly five decades as the iconic bassist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flea delivers his first full-length solo album, Honora—a deeply personal, jazz-driven project that marks a return to his original musical roots: trumpet and improvisation.

Named after a beloved family member, Honora blends original compositions with reinterpretations of works by artists such as Frank Ocean and George Clinton. The album features standout track “Traffic Lights”, co-written with Thom Yorke, alongside collaborations with Nick Cave.

Backed by an elite ensemble of modern jazz musicians—including producer and saxophonist Josh Johnson, Jeff Parker, Anna Butterss, and Deantoni Parks—Flea performs on both trumpet and bass, delivering a hypnotic, groove-led sound shaped by decades of musical exploration.

Honora is a bold, intimate statement from an artist rediscovering his first love, accompanied by a select international tour in intimate venues.
