Innerspeaker - Into The Voodoo Lab (LP)

"Into The Voodoo Lab" is the 2nd full l.p by Innerspeaker band (formerly known as The Underdogs), following their debut album "Paths", released back in 2016. Containing 8 tracks, it is an indie/alternative album full of steady rhythms and dreamy soundscapes.

The band started working on this album shortly after the release of their previous l.p, but it was mainly during 2018 that things started taking shape when they began working in their rehearsal studio with producer and extra member Nick "Ottomo" Angloupas. At the end of that summer, they already had gathered around 25 track ideas, from which they ended up with the final eight by the time the recordings began in January 2019. Another worth mentioning detail concerning the recording sessions was the fact that band members and producer were wide open in trading instruments, changing the rhythm spine on tracks and work on details they haven't used before, such as motorik drumming, lots of percussion, vocal polyphonies and loops.
