Celebrating one of the great turn-of-the-century rock albums, RSD Essentials and UMe are proud to present A Perfect Circle’s landmark debut “Mer De Noms” in custom splatter colour vinyl, exclusively at independent record stores.

“Mer De Noms” (French for “Sea of Names”) is the debut album by the American rock supergroup A Perfect Circle, released on May 23, 2000. The album showcases a unique blend of alternative rock, art rock, and metal influences, driven by intricate compositions and emotionally charged lyrics. Thematically, it delves into personal relationships, love, longing, and vulnerability, with each song inspired by a specific person whose name is reflected in the lyrics or titles.

The album is marked by Maynard James Keenan’s haunting and dynamic vocals, complemented by Billy Howerdel’s layered and atmospheric guitar work. Tracks like “Judith”, “3 Libras”, and “The Hollow” became iconic for their balance of raw intensity and melodic depth.
