The acclaimed darkwave electronic duo Boy Harsher from Northampton, Massachusetts, launch their own label Nude Club Records with the long-awaited reissue of their cult debut Lesser Man (Extended Version) — previously available only as an import.

Boy Harsher are the antithesis of mainstream electro-pop. Over the years, they have built a fiercely loyal underground following, selling out shows across Europe and crafting an atmosphere of mystery and intensity wherever they go. Their sound — a hypnotic blend of dark dance beats, 80s analog textures, and ghostly, reverb-soaked vocals — creates a visceral listening experience that feels both timeless and immediate.

On Lesser Man, Augustus Muller constructs the rhythmic backbone from sharp, driving beats and raw, vintage synths, while Jae Matthews delivers whispered, desperate, and mesmerizing vocals that feel like they come from the edge of the night. Originally released on cassette by Soft Science (2014) and Night People (2015), the record was reissued by Berlin’s goth label aufnahme + wiedergabe in 2017, selling out within two weeks. Now back on vinyl via Nude Club, this 6-track EP includes the first version of their breakout hit “Pain”, while the download code adds two bonus tracks: “Pain (The Soft Moon Remix)” and “Pain (Radio Edit)”.
