Rocky IV is the original motion picture soundtrack to the movie of the same name. It was originally released in 1985.

The soundtrack was successful on the strength of two top-five singles, “Burning Heart”, and “Living In America” by James Brown. “Living In America” showed the decadence, extravagance, and sheer bloated pompousness of the 80’s. The top-40 hit “No Easy Way Out” by Robert Tepper is also included. Perhaps the soundtrack’s most popular tune is “Eye Of The Tiger”. The album reached the Top Ten on the Billboard 200 Album Chart and was certified Platinum by the RIAA.

Rocky IV was a movie for the ages. The story of a man who had it all, only to lose so much overnight. It had a focus on personal, political, spiritual and athletic levels. Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa played the most multi-dimensional role of his career.
