As he prepares for the biggest stadium tour of the year as special guest of Oasis, Richard Ashcroft has announced the release date for his brand new album “Lovin’ You”. ‘Lovin’ You’ is his seventh solo album and his first all-new since 2018’s ‘Natural Rebel’ and follows 2021’s ‘Acoustic Hymns, Vol. 1’.

The two-time winner of the Ivor Novello Award (Songwriter of the Year and Outstanding Contribution To British Music) has become one of the most accomplished and influential songwriters over the course of his three-decade career. His first chapter with The Verve reached a remarkable climax with ‘Urban Hymns’, a hit-laden album (‘Bitter Sweet Symphony’, ‘The Drugs Don’t Work’, ‘Lucky Man’, ‘Sonnet’) that is one of the best-selling albums in UK history with 11 platinum awards. The band achieved a second number 1 album with “Forth” and won three BRIT Awards.

His solo career continued this success with his debut album “Alone With Everybody”, which reached number 1. All five subsequent studio albums landed between #2 and #5. With The Verve and his solo career, he has recorded three UK number 1 albums and five further top 10 records, as well as a number 1 single and five top 10 hits.
