The Band’s First-Ever Blues Album – Recorded at the Legendary FAME Studios

Lookin’ For Trouble marks a powerful new chapter for The Dead Daisies as they dive deep into the roots of rock with their first full-length blues album. Recorded in March 2024 during sessions for their rock LP Light ‘Em Up, the band laid down the core tracks at Sienna Studios in Nashville before heading to the iconic FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama — a place where legends like Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, and Etta James made music history.

What began as late-night blues jams among the band — John Corabi, David Lowy, Doug Aldrich, Michael Devin, and Sarah Tomek — quickly turned into something more. Capturing the raw spontaneity of those sessions, producer Marti Frederiksen hit record and preserved the magic.

The result is Lookin’ For Trouble — an album steeped in the soul, grit, and rebellious spirit that define the blues and its legacy in rock’n’roll. A must-hear for fans of both classic blues and modern rock energy.
