With Golgotha, W.A.S.P. stay true to the biblical horror stories that were already used on Babylon (2009): the titular skull site is the place where Jesus Christ was crucified. Six long years loyal Blackie Lawless fans had to wait for new material – and they were damn well worth it! Golgotha stays true to the line of Babylon and Dominator and soars to first-class and highly melodic metal anthems, where balladic undertones may not be missing. A timeless piece of music that once again proves how much poorer the scene would be without W.A.S.P.!
