Green Balloon is the sophomore studio album by Tank and The Bangas.

Hailing from New Orleans, Tank and the Bangas formed in 2013 and bubbled into national consciousness after appearing on and winning NPR’s wildly popular Tiny Desk Concert contest in 2017. “Green Balloon is a sister to Think Tank,” said lead singer Tarriona “Tank” Ball in comparing Tank & The Bangas’ 2013 debut album to their new LP. “Think Tank was 12, and Green Balloon is 16 and having sex. She’s out there.” The band recruited producers Jack Splash, Mark Batson, Zaytoven, Louie Lastic and Robert Glasper to help create Green Balloon.
