The rock and metal icons AVANTASIA release their 10th studio album “Here Be Dragons”.

In addition to absolute AVANTASIA essentials such as large choirs and bombastic symphonic metal elements, multi-talented frontman Tobias Sammet surprises old and new fans with fascinating new soundscapes. Here Be Dragons adds exciting and powerful facets to the AVANTASIA sound, which has been continuously developed over 25 years and is celebrated worldwide. The result is the most consistent and concise work in the band’s history.

The ten tracks on Here Be Dragons were all written and composed by Tobias Sammet himself. Sascha Paeth was responsible for the production and recording alongside Tobias Sammet, who also created the mix for the album. The master comes from the sound forge of Michael Rodenberg, while British fantasy artist Rodney Matthews created the breathtaking cover artwork – the second AVANTASIA cover from his pen after the legendary “The Mystery OF Time” (2013). The album will be available in numerous high quality editions, with some limited edition formats containing two selected bonus albums.
