Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Tarkus (Deluxe 2CD)

The album "Tarkus" is the second album of the legendary progressive rock supergroup Emerson, Lake and Palmer. In 2016 the longplayer will be released again, completely remastered as LP and as double CD with additional highlights.

Originally, "Tarkus" had already been published in 1971. The rock suite finally sealed the breakthrough of the band. The album even reached number one in the charts in Great Britain. In Germany it reached number four.

Both the double CD (Deluxe Edition) and the LP contain a 24 bit / high density remaster of the original album. The bonus CD of the Deluxe Edition also features the Alternate 2012 stereo mix by star producer Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) and the three bonus tracks "Oh My Father", "Unknown Ballad" and "Mass (Alternate Take)". The Deluxe Edition is rounded off by an extensive booklet with current interviews with Greg Lake and the recently deceased Keith Emerson.
