Formed in the early 1970s by former Sussex University students, Affinity quickly established themselves as one of the most innovative British jazz-rock groups of the era. With Linda Hoyle’s soulful and commanding vocals and Mo Foster’s refined bass work, the band achieved a sophisticated blend of progressive rock and jazz fusion that still sounds fresh and inventive today.
Originally released on Vertigo in 1970, this was the band’s sole studio album — a highly sought-after gem revered for its musicianship, originality, and timeless production.
A must-have for collectors of early ’70s progressive, jazz-rock, and Vertigo-label classics.
