Baxter Dury is pleased to announce his tenth studio album, Allbarone, released via Heavenly Recordings. Produced by the acclaimed Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence & The Machine), this marks Epworth’s first full album project in over five years and represents a striking new chapter in Dury’s career.

The collaboration began after Dury’s celebrated performance on The Park Stage at Glastonbury in June 2024, where Epworth approached him backstage. They reconvened at Epworth’s Church Studios in North London — a creative hub that has hosted artists like Frank Ocean and Adele — and over the course of December and January, crafted Allbarone’s nine tracks in intense, three-hour daily sessions.

The result is Dury’s most melodically direct and futuristic work to date: sharp, satirical, and character-driven. Across the record, he skewers archetypes of modern Britain, from swaggering hipsters in Shoreditch to aging gangsters basking in suburban comfort.

“It’s kind of a character arc that goes through the whole thing, two personalities,” Baxter explains. “It doesn’t sound like a band made it at all — which is what I wanted most of all. It’s just something brand new for me. Quite exciting, really.”

With Epworth’s rich, atmospheric production and Dury’s trademark wit and bite, Allbarone is less a continuation than a reinvention — a bold new statement from one of Britain’s most distinctive voices.
