Released in 1997, Greatest Love Songs Vol. 666 is the debut album by Finnish rock band HIM and one of the earliest examples of their signature “love metal” sound. The album combines dark gothic atmospheres with melodic rock and powerful hooks, introducing the band to a wide European audience.

Alongside original tracks, the album features notable cover versions including “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” (Blue Öyster Cult) and “Wicked Game” (Chris Isaak).
