Lacuna Coil’s 8th studio album Delirium takes listeners deep into the corridors of an abandoned Northern Italian sanatorium, a place haunted by ghosts, scars, and tortured souls. Conceptually rich and atmospherically dark, the album explores themes of madness, inner struggles, and the desperate search for a cure to life’s horrors.

Musically, the band push into heavier, grittier territory. Cristina Scabbia’s ethereal, emotive vocals intertwine with Andrea Ferro’s ferocious growls, creating a dynamic contrast that elevates tracks like the crushing “The House of Shame” and the atmospheric “Ghost in the Mist.” The balladesque “Downfall” even features a soaring guest solo by Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), adding to the record’s depth.
