After achieving a surprise success with the single ‘The Prince’ in August 1979, the London band – led by the producer team Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley – recorded their debut album. The result was undoubtedly one of their best albums ever and at the same time one that critics repeatedly cited as the “best debut album”.

In addition to the aforementioned debut single, the album contained a second huge hit in the form of the title track, as well as equal follow-ups in the form of ‘My Girl’ and ‘Neighbor To Cairo’.
