“Ready An’ Willing” brought WHITESNAKE the first taste of the big success. They established themselves alongside acts like Thin Lizzy as potential hit purveyors, but maintained credibility with rock fans through their distinctive and distinct sound.
When “Ready An’ Willing” reached #6 in the British charts, David Coverdale commented with white foresight: “This is exactly what we need to make Whitesnake a world-class band”. The following successful tour, which was followed by the live classic “Live…In The Heart Of The City”, should confirm exactly that. But that’s another story..
The remastered version of “Ready An’ Willing” features for the first time on CD 4 recordings of the Reading Festival concert from 1979.
